The BROWN SERENITY™ Brown & Gold Silk Pocket Square from the Alesia C. Art-A-Porté™ Collection is an architectural-inspired piece of wearable art created by Chicago-based artist and fashion designer Alesia Chaika.
The design draws inspiration from the magnificent architecture of Stanley Field Hall, the grand entrance hall of Chicago’s Field Museum. Looking upward, Alesia was captivated by the soaring neoclassical ceiling, its repeating square architectural forms, intricate skylight geometry, and the extraordinary interplay of symmetry, structure, space, and natural light.
Alesia reimagined these architectural elements through her artistic perspective, transforming the ceiling’s geometric rhythm into a sophisticated textile composition. Rendered in rich brown and luminous gold, this colorway evokes warmth, heritage, refinement, and timeless elegance. Golden tones recall the way light illuminates the grand interior, while deep brown adds architectural depth and a sense of enduring sophistication.
