Chicago North Shore visual artist, couturier and luxury fashion designer Alesia Chaika is celebrating 10 years of her Alesia C. brand and 30 years of couture at the Fashion House of Alesia Chaika, specializing in elegant outerwear, wearable art, high-end fashion accessories, luxurious silk scarves, sleepwear, couture bridal and special occasion collections, classic formal wear and custom theater costume design.

Alesia comes from a lineage of fine European tailors, visual artists, interior designers and creative masters spanning 3 generations. Her passion for fine art, pattern-making, sewing, and design was nurtured at an early age. Alesia would observe her grandmother, a seamstress, meticulously and lovingly create custom dresses for each of her 5 daughters for holidays and special occasions. Alesia’s mother continued the tradition for her own children, and Alesia fell in love with textiles, often using remaining fabric to create stylish outfits for her dolls. With each embellishment - laces, crystals, freshwater pearls - that adorned her pieces, she developed an appreciation for accentuating individuality with style.

In 2012, Alesia bridged her 25+ years of professional experience in retail fashion and the wedding industry to launch her own namesake flagship boutique-atelier and gallery to expand her craft. Here she hand-selects fabric from around the globe to ensure highest quality of classic formal wear, elegant outwear, special occasion gowns and timeless accessories collections, directly oversees fine alterations, fittings, style consultations, creative design and project customization.

The Traditional Santa's coat hand crafted of red velvet trimmed with snow white fox fur, vest made of 100% tweed wool with gold plated buttons, hat and pants crafted of red velvet, dress puff sleeves shirt made of cotton poplin. Drawing inspiration from her father and mother, visual artists, Alesia created a Wearable Art collection of high-end fashion accessories and resort wear line. Her recent portfolio includes partnerships with NHL and Fortune 500 companies.
