Supply Chain Disclosure
California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657)
At Alesia C., our commitment to ethical craftsmanship goes beyond design — it extends through every step of our supply chain. In accordance with the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act, we work to ensure that the making of our garments and accessories is free from human trafficking, forced labor, and slavery.
1. Verification of Supply Chain
We maintain a vendor compliance program requiring all suppliers to follow applicable labor, employment, and human rights laws. Vendors must also meet Alesia C.’s ethical sourcing standards, which strictly prohibit forced labor, human trafficking, and abusive employment practices. Compliance is verified through both internal monitoring and independent third-party audits.
2. Supplier Audits
We perform both announced and unannounced audits of supplier facilities, conducted by independent inspectors and our own compliance team. These assessments review working conditions, labor practices, and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
3. Supplier Certifications
Before production begins, our direct suppliers must certify in writing that all materials and finished products comply with relevant laws and our sourcing requirements. This includes all fabrics, trims, and components used in our collections.
4. Accountability Standards
We maintain clear accountability measures for employees, contractors, and suppliers. Any violation of our standards may result in corrective actions, suspension, or termination of the business relationship.
5. Employee Training
Team members involved in supply chain management receive training on identifying and addressing potential risks related to human trafficking, forced labor, and other unethical labor practices.
