The design brings together two sources of artistic inspiration: the magnificent architectural ceiling of Stanley Field Hall at Chicago’s Field Museum and the graceful form of the cornflower, one of Alesia’s favorite flowers.
Inspired by the ceiling’s repeating geometry, symmetry, and intricate architectural structure, Alesia reimagined the delicate cornflower through a more geometric and architectural perspective. Its petals become part of a rhythmic, symmetrical composition in which the organic beauty of nature meets the precision and grandeur of architecture.
