The design draws inspiration from the magnificent ceiling architecture of Stanley Field Hall, the grand entrance hall of Chicago’s Field Museum. Looking upward, Alesia was captivated by its soaring neoclassical structure, repeating square geometry, intricate skylights, and the beautiful interplay of symmetry, architecture, space, and natural light.
Alesia reimagined these architectural elements through her own artistic perspective, transforming the ceiling’s geometric rhythm into a contemporary textile composition. Rendered in an elegant palette of blue and luminous white, the design evokes knowledge, clarity, confidence, serenity, and discovery—qualities that inspired the name WISDOM™.
