The design draws inspiration from the magnificent ceiling architecture of Stanley Field Hall, the grand entrance hall of Chicago’s Field Museum. Looking upward, Alesia was captivated by the monumental neoclassical ceiling, its repeating square geometry, intricate skylight structure, and remarkable interplay of symmetry, architecture, space, and natural light.
Alesia reimagined these architectural elements through her own artistic perspective, transforming the ceiling’s geometric rhythm into a bold contemporary composition. Rendered in timeless black and white, the design emphasizes structure, precision, and contrast. Black represents depth, strength, and contemplation, while white evokes light, clarity, and knowledge—together reflecting the idea of WISDOM™.
