The design draws inspiration from the magnificent ceiling of Stanley Field Hall, the grand entrance hall of Chicago’s Field Museum. Looking upward, Alesia was captivated by the soaring neoclassical architecture, repeating square geometry, intricate skylight structure, and extraordinary interplay of symmetry, space, and natural light.
Alesia reimagined these architectural elements through her own artistic perspective, translating the ceiling’s geometric rhythm into a refined contemporary textile composition. Set against a crisp white background, delicate light-pink geometric details bring softness and modern elegance to the structured architectural design.
