The design draws inspiration from the magnificent ceiling architecture of Stanley Field Hall, the grand entrance hall of Chicago’s Field Museum. Looking upward, Alesia was captivated by its soaring neoclassical structure, repeating square geometry, intricate skylights, and the remarkable interplay of symmetry, architecture, space, and natural light.
Alesia reimagined these architectural elements through her own artistic perspective, transforming the ceiling’s geometric rhythm into a contemporary textile composition. Rendered in sophisticated olive green and luminous white, the design brings an organic sense of calm to its structured architectural geometry.
